These values are guidelines for the maximum fine and jail sentence normally recommended for each specific offence. They are intended to provide consistency while still allowing lawmen to use reasonable judgement based on the circumstances of a case.
Jail sentences are shown in days, with 1 in-game jail day equal to 1 real-life minute. For combined charges, the maximum recommended total is $200 in fines and 500 jail days. These are recommendation caps rather than automatic or mandatory outcomes.
